    1. Great Block, Great Value! Review by Oprah (IE)

      http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1005704

These temps are based off of my current system with a Q6600 at 3.3ghz and a system temp of 32C. Under load is 100% CPU and GPU use folding.

Before I installed the VGA block my average temps were..

      Idle CPU = 33C GPU = 45C
      Load CPU = 39C GPU = 85C
      Loop MCP655>EK CPU Supreme HF>MCR320

      After the install..

      Idle CPU = 36C GPU = 31C
      Load CPU = 48C GPU = 42C
Loop MCP655>EK CPU Supreme HF>EK VGA Supreme HF>MCR320

Here are the exact parts I used..
EK VGA Supreme HF - Arctic Cooling VR001

      Install
The install was relatively easy and painless. First I took off the stock GTX 570 heatsink and put the Arctic Cooling sinks on. Then put the EK block on over them with the barbs already attached.

For the Arctic Cooling heatsinks I bought the VR001 model because it was a few dollars cheaper than the one built for the 5 series. It ended up fitting fine with a few left over parts, although I did have to glue some together with the included thermal epoxy. DO NOT buy the VR001 set if you plan on putting them on the 580 because there are two more ram chips on them than the 570. You can see the empty ram spots in this picture.

Also, for the epoxy I used the included tube mixed with some Arctic Silver so the sinks would not be permanently attached. (I had two sinks fall off the first day because I didn't use enough epoxy but I just replaced them and no more have fallen off for the last 2 months.)

      Performance/Conclusion

I do not have the ability to measure flow restriction.

The GPU block did increase my CPU temp, but that was expected. The awesome part is that my GPU temp dropped over 10C idle and 40C under load! My case does have horrible air flow but I am definitely happy with the results.

I have been running this set up for over 2 months now without any problems and I would definitely recommend the EK VGA Supreme HF! You can't beat the price and the performance great. Hopefully this review will help someone (Posted on 5/10/11)
