I run two of these blocks in SLI and with a heavy overclock on myGTX460s and they barely break a sweat even under full load. These blocks keep my cards so cool that I have reached the physical limit of their overclock and at full load they still barely reach 40C (at room temp 20C). Recently there has been a lot of bad press about so-called faulty nickel plating, but I have not experienced corrosion in ANY of my seven blocks after 7 months running distilled water and silver coil. Is it my imagination or is ********* leading some sort of self-interested crusade? Should we all have our blocks re-plated at his nickel plating enterprise? So far I’m satisfied with my EK products, their service, and with how they are dealing with this alleged problem.
